Andrew Wade Obituary

Andrew Wade, aged 87, of Myrtle Beach SC, passed away on August 2, 2024. Born January 20, 1937, in Pudsey, Yorkshire, England to Willie Wade and Annie Hinchliffe Wade. Andrew came to the US at age 11. He loved his career as a firefighter in Washington, DC, reaching the rank of Battalion Chief before retiring. Andrew was outgoing and lively; he enjoyed golf, travel and especially football.


Andrew’s marriage to Leonora Branca ended in divorce. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Stickley Wade and is survived by five children - William Wade, John Wade, Teresa Wade Malone, Steve Stickley, Melissa Stickley Connors - ten grandchildren, and the many friends he made throughout his life. He will be greatly missed.
