Angelia Brente Shippey Obituary

Downtown Atlanta, Ga. July 4th, 1973, as the first exploding fireworks went off Angelia Brente Shippey began her journey into a Most Extraordinary Life. As usual for Brente it was all in her timing, so she arrived in the labor room on July 5th.

Brente's life pretty much followed suit. She lived her life her way always weighing what was right and fair. She loved people and had a knack for finding humor in life. She loved all animals with a special passion for cats. She loved reading and absorbed information like a sponge. She told us she loved her work especially her bosses and the people that she worked with. She always wanted to travel and she did.

She said her goal was to be a little bit better each day and she did. Near the end of this Extraordinary Life Brente opened her eyes and said

"You know I have had a Really Good Life".

Brente is preceded in death by Grandmother's Eloise, Helen and Winifred, her brother Keith, Uncle Greg, loving companion Ray and best friend BJ.

She is survived by Mother Sherry, Father Scott, Aunt Antoinette, Uncle Steve, Aunt Holly and Uncle Sonny, her double cousin Andrea and Derrick and Tony.

Brente's heart was so full of love for so many especially Brandon, her adopted sister Cindy, her life long, and best friend Josh, Amy, John, Mickie and so many more. Please know that we saw Brente scrolling thru All names in her contacts and it brought her a little smile.

Angelia Brente Shippey passed Peacefully into her Heavenly Home on July 3rd, 2026. Our loss Heaven's Gain.
