Anthony Joseph Congiusta

Anthony Joseph Congiusta, age 39 of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022.

Born April 7, 1983, in Honolulu, HA on the Island of Oahu.  He grew up in New Jersey until the age of 14 before moving to South Carolina where he graduated from Socastee High School in 2003. After graduating, Anthony with the love, support, and encouragement from his late Uncle Frankie Congiusta, join the US Navy, where he received a letter of commendation and academic award from his commanding officer for the highest scholastic grade point average in his division 292 in 2004.

Anthony had a love for Jesus, and he shared with others such passion.  He loved being with his family and friends.  He also loved all animals especially his fur babies, Sadie, Louie, and Mama.  He also loved writing and was a plumber by trade.  But the best was when God put an Angel in his path that brought him to The Beach House Recovery with a group of wonderful people who became not only friends but part of his family.  His recovery gave him a purpose and blessed him in doing God’s work.  The Beach House gave his family so much more than they will ever know.  They gave our Anthony back to us, with all his love, laughter, his beautiful smile that lit up a room and endless memories. 

Your family knows you are dancing with Jesus.  The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone for the outpouring of prayers and support during this difficult time.

Surviving are his mother, Joan Ernesto Congiusta; brother, David Daniel Reinhardt and wife Melissa; nephew, Devin Donald Rinehardt; his aunts, Barbara Ernesto Norfolk, Madeline Caporasso, Lucia “CiCI” Congiusta and Denise Vanderweerd Congiusta; cousins, Shannon Kiefer, Anthony Ernesto and his wife, Charlene, Anthony Zappulla, Guiseppe “Joey” Congiusta, Nico Congiusta and all of their children who he loved and adored as his nieces and nephews and many loved ones in New Jersey.

Memorials may be made to The Beach House Recovery, 1198 Riverview Drive, Calabash, NC  28467.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
