Belinda Murdock Obituary

Belinda Weaver Murdock age 57, of Conway, SC, passed away suddenly on April 3, 2022. Belinda was born on December 27, 1964, in Gastonia, NC. She grew up in Socastee, SC where she graduated from Socastee High School in 1982. She moved to Athol, MA and worked for the L.S. Starett Tool Company for a number of years before moving back to South Carolina. She is survived by her daughter, Stefanie (and Brian) Steiner of San Antonio, Texas. She leaves behind a twin brother Bryant (and Laurie) Weaver of Conway, a brother Jeff Hall of Loris, a sister Rhonda (and Max) Nobles of Loris, a sister Glenda Hall of Conway, SC, and a brother-in-law, Walter Johnson of Conway, SC. She was blessed with many nieces and nephews who she enjoyed. She had two granddaughters, Kaylee and Kennedy Steiner. Her granddaughters were her world. She is predeceased by her mother, Geneva (Sharpe) Baugham and her father, Clifford H. Weaver Sr., her sister, Paula Johnson, and her brother Clifford Weaver Jr.   I was blessed to call her mom, momma, or mommy but her most favorite name to be called was nana. I’ve heard that only the best moms get promoted to nana and that sure was true about her. She was the most incredible mom that anyone could have dreamed. She taught me everything I know about being a parent from her.  Selfless. She worked multiple jobs to make ends meet, but never did she complain about it. She did it for me. Selfless, my momma was incredibly selfless.  Helpful. She was always willing to lend a hand in any way she could. Even if that ended up with quite a few scratches and a broken wrist! Helpful, my mom showed me how to always help one another!  Loving. There was no one that loved deeper than her. She loved everyone she met, and they always knew it through her smile and kind words. Loving, there was never any question of her love.  Our girls will always know about how much she loved them, how she was moving back to Texas to be closer to them, and all the fun memories she had with them including Disney World!  My mom, Belinda, will be so greatly missed.  Belinda had a laugh that was contagious, a smile that could light up the room, and a love for everyone she met. She loved fiercely. She was such a hard worker. We know that she is dancing with Jesus and celebrating total body restoration.  All funeral services will be private. There will be a celebration of life planned in the coming weeks.  The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone for the outpouring of prayers and support during this difficult time.
