Bert Edmund Martin Jr. Obituary

Bert Edmund Martin Jr., 79, of Frederick, MD, passed away on August 21, 2025.  Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Sebert and Rose Martin.


Bert was a U.S. Army veteran and was a member of the American Legion.  In his pastime, he enjoyed the game of golf.


In addition to his parents, Bert was also preceded in death by his sisters, Maureen Hager and Janice Fundaro.


He is survived by his wife, Sharon Martin of Frederick, MD; sons, Shawn (Amy) Martin of Sykesville, MD, and Matthew (Kathy) Martin of Apex, NC; granddaughters, Morgan and Kaleigh Martin of Apex, NC, and his sister, Joan Bauer of Arizona.
