On Friday, December 11, 2020, Betty (Frost) Pfeil, loving wife and mother of 5 children, passed away at her home at The Palmettos of Garden City, Murrells Inlet, SC, at age 93. Betty was born on February 11, 1927 in Newark, NJ to George and Hazel (Klesick) Frost. She married the love of her life, Frank T. Pfeil, and they were together for 63 wonderful years. Betty resided in Pompton Plains, NJ for 30 years before retiring and moving to South Chatham, Cape Cod, MA and living there with Frank for another 30 years. Betty always enjoyed staying active and loved sports. In her younger years, she was a member of bowling and golfing leagues in Pequannock, NJ. She was an avid crossword puzzle enthusiast and enjoyed listening to music, knitting and playing Bingo with her friends at the Palmettos. Betty is survived by her five children, Ronald (Patricia) Newton, NJ, Robert (MaryPat) Great Meadows, NJ, Frank, Jr., Pompton Plains, NJ, Nancy Reinhardt (Dennis) Pennington, NJ, and Kathleen Colligan (William) Myrtle Beach, SC.; four grandchildren, Allison Porter (Matt), Jennifer Jenkins (Dan), Melissa Reinhardt, and Daniel Peterson; two great grandchildren, Ryan Porter and Emma Porter; her brother, William W. Frost. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Frank T. Pfeil and her father and mother George and Hazel Frost.
