Brandon “Buster” Audrey Raymond departed this life on Monday February 17th, 2025, after a sudden illness.
Born August 24th, 1988, in Myrtle Beach. He was a 2006 graduate of Socastee High School where he served his final semester as his school’s Air Force ROTC commander.
He had a love for music and playing guitar. Avenge Sevenfold, Lamb of God, AC/DC and Judas Priest were a few of his favorite bands. He was also an avid amateur astronomer and would be outside a lot on clear nights gazing at the stars through his telescope. He was an accomplished chess player as well. He always said his dad was his most challenging opponent. They would play for hours. He loved football and was a huge fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Denver Broncos.
He is survived by his mother Pamela Blackwood Raymond of Myrtle Beach, his brother John Darby Raymond (Brandi) of Murrell’s Inlet, his maternal grandparents Lloyd and Lee Blackwood, his aunt Ruth Vallejo, his uncle David (Diana) Blackwood, his cousins Hannah White and Victoria Blackwood all of Rogersville, Alabama and his niece Dixie Berrong of Illinois.
