Brenda “BB” Beane, revered as a pillar of strength, bravery, and unyielding positivity, passed away unexpectedly on November 25th, 2024. Born on July 5th, 1961, Brenda was known for the warmth, generosity, and undeniably loving spirit she brought into the world.
Brenda will be lovingly remembered by her cherished children, Adam, Mitchell, and Madison Beane, her daughter-in-law Catie and Lela Beane and her adoring granddaughters, Avery and Abby Beane. She is also survived by her devoted mother, Eunice Mehle, and her brother, Brian Mehle. She is reunited with her late husband, Donald Beane, her father, Elwood Mehle, and her fiance, William Stallard.
One of Brenda's most notable achievements was navigating the loss of her late husband, Don, while raising her three children, whom she supported through their college education and beyond. Throughout her life, she celebrated several milestones, including Adam's graduation from UNC-Charlotte, Mitchell's graduation from NC State and Madison's graduation from Appalachian State. She also experienced the joy of Adam and Catie's marriage in 2013, and Mitchell and Lela's wedding in 2021. Affectionately known as “BB,” she was a cheerful grandmother to Avery and Abby, creating memories with them at Myrtle Beach.
Brenda dedicated a considerable part of her life to her career as a mortgage closer before retiring in 2023. Despite the challenges she faced, Brenda never wavered in her compassion for others. She consistently supported her family and extended a helping hand to those around her, embodying kindness and generosity in every aspect of her life. Brenda loved spending her time at her home in Myrtle Beach, traveling with her fiancé, and collecting various knick-knacks.
She will be remembered for her witty sense of humor, her beloved sweet potato casserole (which her daughter-in-law, Lela, struggles to replicate) and her joyful spirit when spending time with family and friends.
A celebration of Brenda’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on January 18th, 2024, at St. Mark’s Community Church in Burlington, NC. Friends and family are invited to join in honoring a woman whose spirit touched so many lives. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of choice that supports families in need, reflecting Brenda's generous heart.
Cremation Services Direct (843-651-1194) of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is assisting the family with the arrangements.
