Obituary
Carol Ann Bathgate, age 74, of Longs, South Carolina, passed away Friday May 12, 2023, at her home with her family by her side.
Carol was born August 15, 1948, in Dover, New Jersey to the late Fredrick & Mildred (Pickey) Lavagnino.
Carol is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert Bathgate and daughter Kimberly Bathgate. She will be remembered as a caring and loving wife and mother.
She loved being outdoors, riding her bike "Pinky", or walking the beach, Carol loved her work as a beautician, creating new hair styles, and the relationships that came as a result of her work, She was a very talented stylist and will be missed by her clientele.
While Carol spent the last 18 years here in South Carolina, she was a Jersey girl at heart. Her daughter Kimberly said, " You could take her out of New Jersey, but you couldn't take New Jersey out of her".
