Carroll John Weedon III, affectionately named ‘John’ age 66, passed away peacefully at home in Conway, SC after a truly courageous battle with cancer. Leaving behind a legacy of love, music, and service. Born in Arlington, Virginia, John’s life was marked by a unique blend of creativity and dedication. He was a talented musician whose work not only graced a commercial but also had the honor of opening for the legendary Chuck Berry.

In addition to his musical talents, John dedicated part of his career to technical work with the FBI and other government services. His contributions were a testament to his commitment to his community and his nation.

John was a beloved husband and a devoted father. To his daughter, he was not just a dad, but a source of immense pride and strength. His presence and the love he brought into the lives of those who knew him will be deeply missed.
