Catherine Veronica Hannum, 75, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away peacefully March 5, 2025.

Catherine was born July 19, 1949, in Cambridge, Massachusetts to the late John & Francis (Bickford) Dimitro Sr. 

Left to cherish her memory is her son Josh Witherell and his wife Deanna, granddaughters Elana, Lillian, and Lauren Witherell, and her sister Marilyn DeLuca. 

Along with her parents Catherine was preceded in death by a daughter Jessica Witherell and her brother John Dimitro Jr. 

Catherine loved gardening, cooking, the beach, her dogs, playing cards, and especially spending time with her granddaughters. She was a strong independent woman who lived life by her own set of rules.

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends but will not be forgotten.
