Catherine Louise Ingemi, 72, of Conway, SC formerly of Weymouth, Ma passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025.  Born in Boston, MA she was the daughter of the late Earl and Eva Richards. Beloved wife of James E. "Rocky" Ingemi of Conway, SC. Devoted mother of Danielle Ingemi of Weymouth MA, James A. Ingemi and his wife Cynthia of Weymouth, MA. Cathy was "Nana" to her cherished grandchildren, Madison, Olivia and Grace Ingemi of Weymouth, Samantha and Jack Sullivan of Dorchester. 

Cathy was a loving and devoted matriarch who cherished family above all else. Her husband, children and grandchildren were the center of her world, and she found immense joy in spending time laughing with them and creating beautiful memories together. Cathy always made her grandchildren feel special and treasured every moment spent with them whether it was having a tea party, swimming in the pool, playing Old Maid, Memory or Mexican train. As long as she was with them, she was happy.

Aside from her family, Cathy loved spending time with friends, she had a passion for shopping and cooking. She had an eye for decorating and loved to travel and explore new places. Her adventurous spirit and zest for life inspired all who knew her. Throughout her life she filled the hearts of her family and friends with so much love and joy. Her infectious laughter brightened the lives of all those around her, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed her path.

While we mourn the loss of such a vibrant and loving soul, we take comfort in knowing that Cathy leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished moments that will forever live on in our hearts.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Rest in peace, our dearest Cathy Your love and light will continue to guide us always.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters; Earl, Ralph, Bobby, Albert, Billy, Kenny, David, Eileen, Eva, Carol, Marion, Leona, and Franee.

Also survived by her siblings, Ed Richards, Rose and John Pennio, Linda and Raymond Edwards and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a Funeral Mass Saturday March 22,2025, at 10:00am at St. Francis Xavier Church 234 Pleasant St., Weymouth, MA with a celebration of life service to follow.

Cremation Services Direct (843-651-1194) of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is assisting the family with the arrangements.
