Charles Richard "Dick'' Bailey

Charles Richard “Dick” Bailey age 80 died on January 31, 2021. He is survived by his wife Lessie H. Bailey. Charles was born in Elmira, N.Y. to Charles Warren Bailey and Ruth Montrose Roydes Bailey. Survivors include two sons, Scott Bailey and his wife Cindi, Mark John Stockings, one daughter, Nicole Newton. Four grandchildren, Andrea Bailey McCain, Jennifer Gail Bailey ,  Megan Seales and Shane Stockings , great-great- grandchildren, Piper McCain, Ripley McCain and Brody Seales. Many nieces and nephews. Charles was preceded in death by one sister, Beverly Bailey Pierce and her husband Hugh Irvin Pierce, a brother, John Roydes Bailey and his wife Phyllis Clark Bailey. His hobbies included boating and fishing at Lake Murray, painting and boiled peanuts from The Peanut Man. Services for Charles will be held at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Columbia ,S.C. at a later date and time. Memorial donations can be made to Leeza’s Care Connections 201 St. Andrews Rd.
