Charles Barnhill Obituary

Charles Glenn Barnhill, 51, of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away on Monday, November 13th, 2023, at his home with his family by his side.

Glenn was born July 22, 1972, in Sumter, SC, to Mary Sue Nexsen Hewitt and the late Gene Autry Barnhill. Glenn was an avid sports fan and loved watching the games with his friends and family. His fandom reached other sports, too. He loved NASCAR and watched every race he possibly could. His favorite driver was Kyle Busch.

Glenn is survived by his mother, Mary Hewitt, and stepfather, Mike Hewitt of Myrtle Beach; one sister, Marie Davis of Conway; one niece, Dixie Davis of Conway; one nephew, Edward Davis Jr. of Conway; one aunt, Brenda West and her husband Tony of Myrtle Beach; and many, many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gene Barnhill, and brother, Thomas Barnhill.

Glenn will be remembered fondly by family and friends as a loving son, brother, uncle, friend, and sports fan.

Funeral services will be held privately at a later date.
