Charlotte Alice (Cummings) Kent departed surrounded by her loving family on April 20th, 2024, at the age of 93.

Charlotte was mother to Robert G Kent of Manahawkin, NJ, and Linda (Kent) Goins of North Myrtle Beach, SC. She raised her children with love and devotion in

Bloomfield, NJ with her husband Norman (Bob) Kent who preceded her in death. Charlotte moved to North Myrtle Beach, SC in 2006, soon after meeting her late-in-life partner Charles (Charlie) Koonts (Decd 2021) and his daughter Tina Lemley.

Charlotte was most proud of her grandchildren Daniel and AnnaMarie Kent of Cedar Grove, NJ; Jamie and David Wohltmann of Myrtle Beach, SC; Brian and Jennifer Kent of Charleston, SC; and

Kristina (DiDomenico) and Kirill Fedotov of Conway, SC. She was devoted to her great grandchildren Bryce, Katelyn, Alyssa, Mason, and Dylan.

She is survived by her sisters and brother-in-law Patricia Walters of Fort Worth, TX and Kathleen and Edward Rigtrup of Seabrook Island, SC.

Charlotte was born on November 10, 1930, in Orange, NJ to the late Helen E. (Goette) and Charles E. Cummings. She attended Watsessing Elementary School and Bloomfield High School in

Bloomfield, NJ. She attended college in Maryland for a year before marrying Norman Robert (Bob) Kent on September 23, 1950.

As a Window Designer and later Sales Associate, Charlotte was known for her artistic skills and the ability to focus on all areas of a project or task. Her hobbies included bowling, roller skating, and crocheting.

Services will be announced at a future date at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield, NJ for the interment of the urn.
