Christopher Joseph Burns, 32, passed away on June 17, 2024. Born in Stratford, NJ, he was the son of Thomas Burns Jr. and Valeri Lauletta.

CJ had the biggest and warmest heart and to know him was to love him.  His kindness showed through to each and every person that he met.  He loved life and lived it to the fullest.  He was so outgoing and enjoyed all sports. He also really enjoyed the ocean because that's where he found his peace. CJ was creative and passionate, and he showed that through his art, drawings, and poetry.  His had such a love for animals, they had a way of filling his heart up and calming his soul. He took so much pride in being a big brother, and always tried to make his parents proud.

The family will be holding a celebration of life service for CJ at a later date.

He was proceeded in death by his aunt, Colleen King, gammy, Roseann King, Pop Pop, Francis Burnet, and grand pop, Thomas Burns Sr.

CJ is survived by his parents, Valeri Burnet-Lauletta from Aynor, SC and Thomas Burns Jr.  from Clarksville TN; stepmom, Marlene Burns; brothers, Dominic Lauletta of Williamstown, NJ, Jackson Burnet of Aynor, SC, Shane Burns of Clarksville, TN, Joey Burns of Clarksville, TN; stepsisters, Stephanie Burmylo of Bellmawr, NJ, Samantha Titus, of Cherry Hill, NJ; grandmothers, Mary Hackett of Florence, AZ, and Donna Castagna of Bellmawr, NJ.  He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
