In the early morning hours of October 22, 2024. Curtis Edwin Fowble of Galivants Ferry, SC was called home to be with his Heavenly Father to his forever mansion in the sky. Curtis was born on December 8, 1968, to happy parents, Edwin Arthur Fowble "Jr" and Colean "Toni" Grahan in Baltimore, MD. Shortly after they relocated to Owning Mills, MD where he grew up with his older brothers, William Leroy and Chester Clayton. As well as his cousins, Thomas Grubb of Hampstead, MD and Terrie Harden of Westminster, MD. Eventually moving to Aynor, SC sometime in his teenage years.
He was widowed by Rachel Elizabeth Fowble in 2013. They enjoyed living life together and raising their children in a God-fearing home and serving with their church's your ministries. Though he faced many hardships, he still got up every day and preserved for better days standing toe to toe in the face of adversity. Never backing down. Sharing his wisdom and testimony with anyone who would listen. Sharing his love for Jesus Christ, especially sowing that seed in his children.
Curtis had a successful career as a professional freelancer handyman, where he was known for his dedication and expertise. Outside of work, Curtis was a devoted family man who always put his loved ones first showing them the path to righteousness. Making memories with his daughters and oldest grandson, Noah Edwin (5).
Curtis will be remembered for his infectious laughter, outrageous sense of humor, kind heart, his morals, and unwavering love for his family. His character leaves behind a legacy of wisdom, knowledge, love, and laughter that will continue to inspire all who knew him.
His is survived by four children. Anthony Curtis, 33, Hannah Colean, 29, Rebecca Anne Marie, 23, and Hannah Mae Elizabeth, 22. As well as four cherished grandchildren, he attributed as his " I made it moment ". Generations to follow that will carry on his legacy. A proud father, and papa, he was, no matter what.
