Dale Jerome Huggins, 81 of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away on September 30, 2024. Born in New Martinsville, WV, he was the son of the late Lindsay (Bud) Huggins and Hazel Smith Huggins.
He was a lifetime member of Surfside Moose Lodge #2351, Murrells Inlet Elks Lodge, and Murrells Inlet American Legion, and the VFW. He had a lifelong love of golf and was a diehard WVU football and Pittsburg Steelers fan.
In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by sister, Madonna Hoskins and his nephew, Brian Hoskins.
Dale is survived by his wife, Diana Sabo-Huggins of Myrtle Beach, SC,; daughters, Heidi Blake and Heather Cozart (Todd) of New Martinsville, WV; stepdaughter, Natalie (Paul) Kirkland of San Francisco, CA; grandchildren, Aaron Grimm of New Martinsville, WV, Jordan Grimm of New Martinsville, WV, Kylie (Cody) Jacobs; great-grandchildren, Azilynn, Cambrie, Aspen, and Easton; sister, Rhonda (Bob) White of Ponte Vedra, FL; nephews, Craig Hoskins, of Jacksonville, FL, Mark Hoskins of Jacksonburg, WV, Micheal White of Ponte Vedra, FL; and niece, Lindsay White of Ponte Veda, FL.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to The Grandstand Pulmonary Rehab because they were wonderful.
A tribute to Dale will be held Wednesday October 16, 2024, from 1-4pm at Tupelo Bay in the Sand Trap room.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society, American Lung Association, or Grand Strand Humane Society.
