Daniel Paul Fallon, aged 57 years old of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina passed away peacefully at his home on June 15, 2026 while held in the love of his wife Jill, following a valiant battle with lung cancer

Born October 21,1968 in Albany, New York, Dan spent his summers of childhood and youth partially in Orleans, Massachusetts on Cape Cod where he developed an early love of the ocean, beach and reading.

His full-time residence was in Duxbury, Massachusetts - graduating from Duxbury High School in 1986. Dan’s youth was full of baseball, swimming, boating and music. He also enjoyed numerous ski trips with his family and he became a skilled skier with a lifelong passion for the slopes.

Golfing was also a common family activity and throughout his life, golfing allowed Dan the ability to spend quality time with a wide variety of family and friends.

Dan spent a few semesters at the University of Miami and later transferred to the University of Massachusetts where he graduated with a degree in Psychology in 1991. Wanting to pursue a future of helping others, Dan continued his education and graduated from Northeastern University with a Master of Science - MS, Counseling Psychology in 1996. Dan became a practicing counselor and covered the South Shore of Massachusetts for a period of years.

Between the years of 1999 - 2005, Dan was a member of the Providence Grays, a historic baseball club that played games at museums and fields from New Jersey to Block Island to the Catskills, under rules from the 1850's to 1898.

During this time, Dan transitioned to a corporate role, servicing the customers of Henry Schein and eventually developed an interest in technology. After various certifications and hard work, he became a skilled Technical Support Specialist at Integrated IT, where he worked for 15 years. He excelled at solving problems and helping both customers and co-workers.

           

Dan is survived by his wife Jill, their beloved cats Laverne and Shirley and his brother Jeffrey, Stephen and his wife, Karen and Peter and his wife, Prudence. Dan leaves behind many nieces nephews and cousins and good friends, particularly Bill B. and Charlie F. and Dennis M.

He was preceded in death by his brother, David, his mother, Shirley and his father, Robert.

Dan had a deep focus on service in both SC and Massachusetts. He belonged to Catholic and local community outreach.

Dan had a way of bringing people together in an “it’s a small world kind of way”. He added   so much to this world and was a true inspiration.

The family would like to thank Jessica W., Kirsten and Pat of Heartland Hospice for their devotion and care of Mr. Fallon.

There will be a private Catholic Mass.  Burial will be at a later date.
