David Curtis Monks, age 72, of Conway, passed into Heaven on Thursday, November 6, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. David had suffered a long illness, and is finally at peace. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
David was born October 13, 1953 in Baltimore, Maryland, a son of the late Thomas Everret Monks and Grace Marie Couch Monks. He was a University of Maryland Graduate. He attended Ekklesia Church in Conway. David was an avid golfer, loved the beach, excellent swimmer, loved spending time gardening and being in the outdoors. He was passionate about the Jacksonville Jaguars and Baltimore Orioles. David's charisma and wit could fill a room. He loved life, and was a natural jokester!!! He so loved his German Shepard Addi.
Surviving David is the love of his life, his wife of 29 years, Annie Monks and his very best friend, Dan Myers of Hamstead North Carolina.
Celebration of life and services will be held at Ekklesia Church of Conway and will be posted when finalized.
