Obituary

David Allen Tucker, of Conway, SC, passed away on April 30th, 2026, in his home surrounded by family and loved ones.

Dave was born in Franklin County, Ohio to parents Alice Rose and Patsy Joe Tucker on December 11th, 1948. A graduate of Gahanna Lincoln High School and worked for Dallas and Mavis Trucking as a commercial truck driver until retirement.

Dave was known for his humor and his ability to bring life to each room he entered. He had a passion for golfing, riding motorcycles, and enjoying time with his family and friends, including Sammy, his family dog in which he loved very much.

Dave is proceeded in death by his parents, Patsy (Rose) Tucker, brothers Patrick and Jeffrey Tucker, and son, Robert Shawn Tucker.

Dave is survived by his beloved wife, Cheryl Tucker (of 51 years of marriage), daughter, Nicole (James) Justice, grandchildren, Katie (Noah) Watkins, Austin (Alaina) Day, step grandchildren, Dakota (Jennifer) Justice and Alayna Justice, great grandchild, William Watkins, and several step great grandchildren.

At this time no service will be held, A celebration of life is to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Hospital www.stjude.org/donate.
