Dennis Michael Brady of Edgewater, MD and North Myrtle Beach, SC passed from this life into eternal life on June 29. Dennis was the beloved husband of 49 years to high school sweetheart, Mary (Frazier) Brady. He was the father of two - son, Ryan Brady/wife Mary and (preceded in death by) daughter, Andrea Brady. His six – grandkids Christian, Taylor, Dockery, Julia, Boston, Brooklyn were the light of his life! Dennis had one brother, Lee Van/wife Pam. He also had nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, many whom have remained close friends throughout life. He was loved and loved life! Dennis had retired from his 45-year career in medical sales with KOL Biomedical and followed by Clinical Innovations in 2019. One of the highlights of his life was head-coaching the successful Southern Maryland Dynasty girls traveling softball team for 8-years. The girls/families were truly family to him. DB had a gift and a heart for teaching. He taught teens in Sunday School for several years. He coached both of his kids in baseball & softball and then the grandkids in Upward Basketball. He was also a referee for many years in Upward Basketball. Before leaving Maryland, he was a member of First Baptist Church of Waldorf Maryland. After moving to South Carolina, he became a member of Living Waters Baptist Church in Longs, SC DB was a larger-than-life, born leader. He was a colorful character who sported a multitude of colorful shirts in his retirement years. As a gifted storyteller, he entertained grandkids and family as well as friends and co-workers. He would like the world to know that he loved and served Jesus and now lives with Him in Glory. A Celebration of Dennis’ Life will be held in August at First Baptist Church of Waldorf in Maryland, his home church of 46 years.
The family will be having a Celebration of Life Service for Dennis Michael Brady on August 3, 2024, at the First Baptist Church of Waldorf, 10045 Bunker Hill Road, Waldorf, Maryland, 20603. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution to The First Baptist Church of Waldorf in Dennis's memory.
