Diann Hewitt Obituary

Diann Hewitt, 72, of Murrells Inlet, SC, passed away on September 1, 2024.  Born in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Gertrude Wasielewski.


She is survived by her husband, Gerald Hewitt of Murrells Inlet; son, David Hewitt (Waynette) of FL; daughter, Carolyn Taft of SC; sister, Nancy Jackson of GA; grandchildren, Ryan Taft of SC, Jacquelyn Hewitt of MI, and Tyler Taft of SC; nieces and nephews, Stacey Laroche, Keith Wasielewski, Jeffrey Jackson, Bobby Jackson and Lisa Jackson.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Grace Goff (Charles); father-in-law, John Hewitt (Fran); and brother, Ronald Wasielewski.


The family would like to express a special thank you to Robert Yockey for his love, care and support.


There will be no services at the family's request.
