Donald M. Harrington, age 75, of North Myrtle Beach, SC (formerly Gasport, NY), passed away from cancer on May 20, 2025. Born October 2, 1949, in Niagara Falls, NY he was a son to the late: William and Marjorie (Cavagnaro) Harrington.

Donald retired from General Motors after 30 years, toured the US in his travel trailer and eventually settled in North Myrtle Beach, SC where he lived for the past 20 years. He enjoyed playing and watching sports, morning walks at the beach to find shark teeth and building sandcastles with his grandchildren.

Surviving Donald are his two daughters:  Nikki (Fred Bewley) & Heather (Jesse Cotriss) and grandchildren: Sydney Robinson, Jax & Easton Cotriss; caring ex-wife, Billie Jo; dear friend, Debbie Boulden; brother of: William (April) Harrington, Roy (Heidi) Harrington, Kevin (Bev) Harrington, Kent Harrington, Nick Harrington, Glenn (Connie) Harrington, Shawn Harrington and the late:  David (Joan) Harrington, Mary Kay (Kathy) Harrington, Steve (Lynn) Harrington, Jeff (Barb) Harrington, Andy Harrington, and Christa Williams. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no prior calling. Family will celebrate his life at a future date. Memorials may be made to Embrace Hospice House of Myrtle Beach SC.
