Donald Kay Pierce, 77, passed away on October 24, 2024, in Conway, SC. Born on October 29, 1946, Donald was a loving and devoted Christian, who dedicated much of his life to his family and his faith. Donald proudly served in the Air Force from 1964 to 1970, a period during which he developed a strong sense of duty that he carried throughout his life. After his military service, he worked as a heavy equipment operator, a role he performed with diligence and skill.


He was an active member of Langston Baptist Church, where he was involved in Sunday School and support groups, reflecting his commitment to his faith and community. Donald was a 1964 graduate of Bellwood Antis High School. His educational journey was a testament to his lifelong pursuit of knowledge and personal development.


He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Marjorie Johnson Pierce; his parents, William and Martha Pierce; and his brothers, Kenneth and Ronald Ray Pierce.


Donald is survived by his children, Kristen Pierce (Vincent White II), Jeffery Dollar (Tammy), Colleen Dollar Nicewonger, Timothy Dollar (Michelle); his sister, Kathy Dietzel (Larry); 14 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren, all of whom will miss him dearly. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no viewing or service.
