Donald " Winky " Philip Markwith, Jr., age 71, passed away, November 24, 2022, at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital.

Donald was born September 27, 1951, in Washington, DC., a son of Donald Philip and Vivien Hyatt Markwith. Donald loved fishing, crabbing, boating and just loved anything about being on the water. Retired from the Naval Service Warfare Center, Dahlgren, VA., after 35 years of service.

Surviving is his wife: Cathy C. Markwith; children: Donald Philip Markwith, III (Justina) and Melissa Elizabeth Nordstrom; three grandchildren: Skylar Ann Markwith, Colt Sullivan Nordstrom, and Liv Karen Elizabeth Nordstrom; siblings: Glenn Markwith (Anne), Heather Trivett (Norman), and Christopher Markwith (Janet).
