Surfside Beach…Dustin Miller, age 42, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2026 at his residence.

Dustin was born January 6, 1984 in York, PA, a son of Linda Jean Hoffman Miller and the late Robert William Miller, Jr.  He was a member of Life Church in Murrells Inlet.  Dustin was employed by Coastal Asphalt in Georgetown and was previously employed by York Building Products in York, PA for 20 years where he worked beside his father for 15 years.  He was known for his skateboarding when he was younger.  Dustin and his wife loved remodeling homes and spending time with their family.  They loved decorating for Halloween, loved fishing, working in the yard, and playing cards. Dustin was an avid craftsman, he tried to acquire as many unique sets of skills as he could. Dustin was as hardworking as one could possibly be, he instilled those values into his family alongside his silliness. Dustin loved to share laughter with his family, frequently keeping his own running jokes and bits for as long as any of us could remember and he never lost that sense of humor through ALS. Dustin was no stranger to making meaningful gestures of love and compassion for all of us and always went out of his way to make his family feel special regardless of how hard he was working.   

Surviving are his loving wife of 20 years, Katie Miller who acted as his primary caregiver throughout his journey with ALS, three children, Kyle Anthony Miller (24), JasMarie Lei Miller (19) and Delilah Charlie Miller (3), his mother, Linda Jean Hoffman Miller,  a brother, Rob Miller, and two sisters, Kelley Miller Macdonalda and Jess Miller.
