Edward N. Markante, age 74, passed away, June 14, 2022, at his residence.

Edward was born September 6, 1947, in Durham, NC., a son of Christie Nicholas and Margaret Hazel Dennis Markante. Edward loved to fish and was a US Army Veteran.

Surviving is his wife: Margie C. Westbrooks; children: Ashley Markante, Justin Markante, Cory Connell, Angela Carter and Joshua Young (Nancy); grandchildren: Alyssa Thomas, Raina Roberts, and Ariah Wallace; great-grandchildren: Kiya Felton, Connor Young, Beda Young, Madison Young, and Emma Young; siblings: Susan and Cheryl; nieces and nephews: Angela, Kelly, and Chest.
