Edward Lee Randall Jr, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully in his home September 22, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was born on July 16, 1943, in Akron, Ohio, and lived a life defined by love, devotion, and quiet strength.
Edward was married to the love of his life, Nancy, for an extraordinary 62 years—a partnership built on deep affection, laughter, and unwavering commitment. Together they raised three sons, Scott, Gary, and Michael, who were his greatest pride and joy.
Edward worked for BF Goodrich in Akron, Ohio for 19 years and also became a successful business man till he retired in Myrtle Beach SC.
A proud grandfather, Edward cherished every moment with his four grandchildren—Brittany Marie Randall, Lauren Bailey Randall (Medure), Garett Randall, and Genae Greer (Randall)—finding endless happiness in their accomplishments and the light they brought to his life. Edward was also blessed with 2 Great Grandchildren Grey Joseph Medure (Luke and Lauren Medure (Randall), and Gannon Price Greer (Genae and Steve Greer)
Those who knew Ed (Eddie) will remember his steady guidance, kind heart and the way he always put family first. His tremendous hard work ethic, great sense of humor and his honor and his legacy is one of love, integrity, and the quiet heroism of a life well-lived.
A private family service (Celebration Of Life) will be held to honor Edward’s memory Sunday September 28 in Myrtle Beach, SC. In lieu of flowers, the family invites friends and loved ones to share a story or memory that captures the joy he brought to their lives.
Edward’s presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him for eternity.
