Eileen McEnany Burress passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025, surrounded by her daughter, Kelly; sister Lyn Somerville, and close friend, Eileen Brooker.
Eileen was born and raised in Maryland where she attended Winston Churchill High School and graduated from what is now Towson University. She moved back east and settled in Little River, SC to be closer to family. She had just celebrated her 70th birthday three days prior to passing away. Eileen was a devoted mother who adored her family. She was strong-willed, funny, kind, giving and a loving friend to all.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Kelly Burress; her sister, Lyn Somerville; brother, Jim McEnany; ex-husband David Burress and many nieces and nephews. Her parents, Joseph and Bernice McEnany and brother, Kevin McEnany predeceased her.
