Elizabeth Vera "Pete" Blackmon, 86, of Murrells Inlet, SC, passed away Tuesday April 23, 2024, at her home.

Elizabeth was born October 15, 1937, in Sumter, SC, to the late Edgar and Clara (Ward) Blackmon. 

Aunt Pete as she was affectionately called by her family was an extraordinary woman, loved by all who knew her. She was a hard-working woman that led by example. 

She is survived by nine nieces and nephews, and several great nephews. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.
