Elizabeth J. Willoughby (Maley)  passed away on January 14, 2025 in Conway, South Carolina.


Elizabeth (Liz) Willoughby, daughter of John W. and Phyllis Maley (deceased) was born in Washington, D.C., and grew up in Falls Church, VA.  She is a twin to Patricia Hart (Maley) of Manassas, VA and one of eight children.  Liz had one daughter, Kimberly Ann (deceased), four grandchildren, Terra, Haley, Kylee and Kerra, and two great grandchildren, Lestat and Zoe (all residing in West Virginia).  Liz’s siblings include Gertrude (Trudy) Maley Hall of Murrells Inlet, SC, John W. Maley Jr., of Burke, VA, Gary W. Maley of Manassas, VA, Pamela Maley Marshall of Fletcher, NC, Paul C. Maley (deceased), Patricia Maley Hart of Manassas, VA and Brian K. Maley of San Antonio, TX.  


Liz was a wonderful friend, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  Subsequent to high school, she worked many years at the Sunrise Nursing Home in northern Virginia.  Later Liz was a fulltime home maker and took care of her mother.  She loved cooking, card games and mostly her family.  


Liz is survived by her four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and her six siblings.  

 

Cremation Services Direct (843-651-1194) of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is assisting the family with the arrangements.
