MYRTLE BEACH - On April 9, 2026, Emorn (Ongsaenkhum) Velez of Myrtle Beach, SC peacefully passed away at home after an arduous journey with pancreatic cancer. Emorn was a quality supervisor with AVX for over 20 years. Emorn was born in Thailand on April 19, 1951 and moved to Myrtle Beach in March 1985.  She is survived by her son Reynaldo Velez, plus 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.  Emorn will be missed by her family and friends.
