Eugene J. Mottola, 73, of Surfside Beach, South Carolina, passed away Sunday November 23, 2025, at the Medical University Of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. 

Eugene was born January 14, 1952, in Hoboken, New Jersey to the late Vincent and Rose (Aurigemma) Mottola.

Left to cherish Eugene’s memory is his daughter Rose-Danielle Mottola, granddaughter Isabella-Rose Pasquarelli, and his fiancé Donna Denton.

Eugene enjoyed working in the yard, riding his Harley Davidson, caring for plants, and sharing good times with his family and friends.

Along with his parents Eugene was predeceased by two brothers James Mottola and Richard Mottola, and a sister Roseanna Mottola.

The family would like to give a special thank you to his sister-in-law Linda Adkins and the staff at MUSC for their dedication and great care that was provided for Eugene.

The family is requesting Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Judes Cancer Research in memory of Eugene.

Cremation Services Direct (843-651-1194) of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is assisting the family with Eugene’s arrangements.
