Felipe Dones Rosario, age 89, passed away, October 30, 2023, at his residence.

Felipe was born June 24, 1934, in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, a son of Jose’ Dones and Severa Rosario. In addition to his parents, Felipe is pre-deceased by his wife: Maria Elba Dones; two sons: Felix Dones, Jr., and Richard Dones, 34 siblings, and a grandchild; Giovanni.

Felipe retired and moved to South Carolina in 2004. He was a member of Mission Cristiana Church, he loved playing pool, and was owner and operator of a restaurant and store in New York before retiring. Felipe will be remembered as a Lady’s Man who loved his family and friends.

Surviving is his daughter: Jeanette Dones; 7 grandchildren: Jahaida, Daniel, Angelica, Melanie, Adrian, Bianca, and Patrick; 8 great-grandchildren: Xavier, Jackson, Emma, Sophia, Audrey, Haillie, Lucy, and Brady; 9 siblings: Aidita, Alejita, Nando, Juanito, Leoni, Juanita, Fernando, Clemente, and Ana Maria.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 3:00 pm till 5:00 PM, Saturday, November 11, 2023, at the daughter’s residence. Burial will be later in Massachusetts.
