Florence Adeline (Kozlowski) Boyer (aka Mommom), 91, of Longs, SC (formerly of Emmaus, PA) passed away at home on Thursday, May 9, 2024. Florence was born on February 28, 1933, to Stanley Kozlowski and Edith (Walker) Kozlowski in Reading, PA. She was wife to the late William George Boyer, Sr.; they were married September 30, 1950. 

Florence was a student at Reading High School and loved being a mother to her five children, William (aka Cork), Glenn, Diane, Kris, and Tabitha; Mommom to her grandchildren Damian, Taylor, Caydan, Nancy, Gary, Jason, James, Rebecca, Terri, Ryan, and Erica; great grandmother to Shayna, Austin, Peyton, Iven, Teegan, Brenden, Justin, and Devin; and great-great grandmother to little miss Harley.

She retired from CNA Insurance where she worked for over 20 years. She walked to work almost every day and everywhere else for that matter because she never wanted to learn how to drive. She loved cooking, especially food from her Polish heritage, including pierogies and haluski; she enjoyed reading, playing cards, and dancing; mostly she enjoyed going for her weekly spaghetti dinner at Jack and Snookie's with her late husband; her late sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Warren Krall; and her grandchildren, Damian and Taylor. She was loved and adored by everyone that knew her and most called her Mommom even if not blood relation. 

Florence is survived by her five children; William Boyer, Jr (his wife Katharine), Glenn Boyer (his wife Sandra), Diane Shupp (her late husband Gary), Kris Boyer (his wife Edna), and Tabitha Boyer; her grandchildren Damian Concordia (his wife Alexis), Taylor Concordia, Caydan Bachman, Nancy Roth (her late husband Paul), Gary Shupp, Jason Shupp (his wife Jennifer), James Shupp, Rebecca Shupp, Terri Barnett (her husband Matthew), Ryan Roberts, and Erica Campbell; eleven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Please keep Florence and her family in your thoughts, memories, and prayers at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family ask donations be made to your local hospice agency. The family will hold a private memorial at Berks County Memorial Gardens, PA in June where she will be placed to rest next to her husband, William Sr.

Cremation Services Direct of Myrtle Beach, SC, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
