Frank John Barranco

 Frank John Barranco, (Dad, Pop, Dom), 71 years of age, of Johnsonville, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023, after a valiant fight against cancer. He was surrounded by his devoted family. Frank was born on August 13th, 1951, to Carmelo and Angelina Barranco in Cefalu, Sicily. He was raised in Loch Raven, Maryland, where he attended and graduated from Calvert Hall. Frank stayed within Baltimore County most of his life, until moving to South Carolina two years ago, to be close to his daughter and grandchildren. Frank pursued different entrepreneurial opportunities throughout his life, he enjoyed being his own boss. In his years, he worked as a store owner, realtor and a courier. His real passion was always to pursue his music career. He was in a few bands throughout his years, namely, DC Review and Jettstream. Frank was well known in the DelMarVa area for his remarkable bass playing. Anyone that knew Frank knew his “loves” were his family, music, and motorcycles. His family hopes he his riding his dream Harley through the Heavenly golden gates. In his too short time on this Earth, he was able to touch many people’s lives through his music or riding his Harley. Frank was known for his dazzling smile, contagious laugh, and spectacular sense of humor. Frank was predeceased by both his parents. He also very recently had lost his wife, Deborah Barranco. He is survived by his brother, Joseph Barranco and daughters; Maria Moore and Angelina Barranco, and son-in-love; William Moore Jr, as well as his grandchildren; Courtney Moore, William Moore III and Jayden Barranco. All will continue with a large hole in their hearts, missing such a unique and special man!
