Gary Ray Collins Obituary

Gary Ray Collins, age 63, of Murrells Inlet, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026.


Gary was born October 6, 1962 in Charlotte, NC, a son of the late Douglas Ray and Minnie Lou Bryant Collins.  He grew up in Hartsville, SC and moved to Myrtle Beach while he was stationed while he was in the Air Force.  He stayed in Myrtle Beach after leaving  the Air Force and worked in various fish markets in the Murrell's Inlet Area.  He then worked in Land Surveying until retirement.  He never met a stranger and was an avid Clemson Tiger Fan. 


Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Janna Collins and one son, Jaylor Collins.


A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday February 21, 2026, 2pm at O'Keef's Irish Bar in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina.
