GeRoy Cook, Jr. Obituary
Mr. GeRoy “JR” Cook, Jr., 55, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020 at his home.
A native of Lancaster, SC, “JR” was the son of the late Hazel Cribb Cook and GeRoy Cook, Sr. of Longs, SC. He was a veterinary tech and a convenience store manager.
Surviving in addition to his father are his life partner, Ted Hyman, of the home; two brothers, Pete Cook and wife, Sheila, of Lancaster, SC and Travis Cook, of Longs, SC; and his sister, Penny Moore, of Little River.
A celebration of life service will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 9, 2020 at the chapel of Cremation Services Direct, 9506 Hwy. 707, Myrtle Beach, SC with Chaplain Harrison Grey officiating. The family will receive friends at the chapel one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in JR’s name to the charity of one’s choice.
