George Allen Milligan, age 78, of Conway, SC, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at his residence.

Mr. Milligan was born September 18, 1947 in Hemingway, SC, a son of the late Von and Georgie Milligan.  He retired from International Paper as a Maintenance Planner after 50 years of service.  Mr. Milligan loved his wife, Ruby, his children and loved raising birds, his koi pond and computers.  He was predeceased by 1 brother and 7 sisters.

Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Ruby Milligan, one son, George Allen Milligan, Jr. and his wife, Joelle, two daughters, Lori Belton and Twilight Church and her husband, Darren, six grandchildren, Aiden, Talon, Ruby Grace, Cory and his wife, Elizabeth, Lacey and her husband, Evan, and Chelsea, four great-grandchildren, Lily Ann, Iris, Theo and Daphne, two sisters, Patsy Dickinson and Barbara Elliott and her husband, Billy, one brother, Robert Milligan.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
