Gregory Lee Cumbow

Gregory Lee Cumbow, 62, passed away on April 25, 2025 in Myrtle Beach, SC.  Born in Huntington, WV, he was the son of the late Dalis and Betty (Davenport) Cumbow.

Gregory enjoyed watching the OSU Buckeyes football, loved cooking and eating food, (especially pizza), riding his electric scooter, and meeting people.  He was so very proud of his son Joey (aka Boo Boo) and didn’t hesitate to tell anyone he met.

In addition to his parents, Gregory was also preceded in death by his grandparents, John Henry and Pansy (Sykes) Cumbow, Lloyd and Anna (Dixon) Davenport.

He is survived by his son, Joseph Gregory Cumbow of Westerville, OH; sister, Rhonda (Cumbow) Miller of Myrtle Beach, SC; nephew, Adam Miller of Myrtle Beach, SC, and his Aunt Genene (Davenport) Dixon of Georgetown, OH.  He also leaves behind many cousins and extended family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 17th, 2025, with an open visitation from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm, at Everal Homestead in Heritage Park, 60 N. Cleveland Ave. Westerville, Ohio 43081.
