On December 10,2024, Helen Louise Suders Clever age 87 passed away peacefully at her home with her family and friends by her side.   She was born June 28, 1937 to the late Chester and Elizabeth (Monn) Suders.

Helen was married to Robert Clever of Shippensburg Pennsylvania. Helen caught Bob’s eye at Red Bridge Roller Rink in Chambersburg, PA during the “teddy bear skate”. They would’ve celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary this coming January.

Nicknamed “jetsetters” by their family they visited numerous European countries. London, England being their favorite where they frequented many pubs and attended several Wimbledon tennis matches.

Helen was an avid gardener, loved playing tennis, swimming, reading, doing crossword puzzles, antiquing, visiting thrift stores, attending auctions, and watching Harry Potter. She also loved playing checkers where she continuously beat Bob.

Along with her husband Bob Helen is survived by their two children Kimberly Kay Clever of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, and Douglas Robert Clever of Moore, Oklahoma, seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
