Ida Mae Duckworth, 91, of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away peacefully on February 26, 2025. Ida, or "Billie", as she was lovingly known, was born in Baltimore, MD and was the daughter of the late WIlliam Gowran and Ida Mae Winkler Hendricks.
Billie lived life to the fullest. She was a member of the Elks Club and the Moose Club. She loved traveling, dancing, and walking on the beach with her sweetheart, Dave of 73 years. Spending time and talking with her family and friends was always very dear to her heart.
In addition to her parents, Billie was also preceded in death by her son, David Charles Duckworth, and by her brother, William Thomas Gowran, Jr.
She is survived by her children, Patricia Watts, William Duckworth, and Christine Conklin; brother, James Gerald Gowran; sister, Mary Lou Walmsley. She also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
