James Robert Elliott, Sr.

James Robert Elliott, Sr., 86, of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020. He was born July 7, 1934 in Tampa, Fl son of the late, Gordon Elliott and Agnes Craft Elliott.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Frances Napier.

Survivors include his loving wife Dorothy Elliott of Myrtle Beach, SC; two sons, James Elliott, Jr. and his wife Kelly of Surfside Beach, SC and Richard Sargent of Omaha, NB; two daughters, Sandra Herrera and her husband Raul of Myrtle Beach, SC and Margaret McComas of Myrtle Beach; brother, Rosco Elliott and his wife Edna of Columbus, GA; two sisters, Sue Mitchell and her husband Samuel of Phenix, AL and Dorothy Presta and her husband Joe of Las Vegas, NV; nine grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.

James enjoyed buying and selling things and spending time with his fur babies.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to Vince Fioravanti of Vinny’s Café in Murrells Inlet.

Services will be privately held.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made or dropped off to Payin it Forward Non-Profit Thrift Store, 2761 Hwy 17 S. Garden City, SC 29576.
