James Richard Triesler, 75, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026, at his residence, surrounded by his family. He was born on September 03, 1950, in Maryland.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Chad Edward Triesler. 

Survivors include his beloved wife of forty nine years, Margaretta “Gretta” Triesler of Myrtle Beach, SC; one daughter, Tiffany Triesler of Myrtle Beach, SC; a sister, Linda Braun and her husband, Steve of Frederick, MD; four grandchildren, Sarah Triesler, Sophia Carlin, Madison Norris, Gracelynn Triesler; as well as special friends Dana and Paul Cataldo and Irene and Ronald Caho.

He proudly served his country in the United States Navy for four years, carrying with him a lifelong sense of discipline, strength, and dedication. A hardworking Christian man, he lived his life guided by faith, always striving to do what was right and to help others who shared his belief in God.

He found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid football fan and a loyal supporter of the Washington Redskins, and he also loved NASCAR. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, working in the yard, and building furniture, taking pride in creating things with his own hands.

Above all, he cherished his family. He shared a life filled with love and devotion with his wife and took great pride in his granddaughters. He was a strong provider, a dedicated husband, and a man who always wanted the very best for those around him. Known for his generous spirit, he was always willing to lend a helping hand to others.

He will be remembered for his kindness, his unwavering faith, and his deep love for his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
