James "Jim" Dahlin Obituary

James “Jim” Edward Dahlin, 80, of Waterloo passed away Monday, November 30, 2020 at St. Gabriel’s of Murrells Inlet. He was born September 2, 1940 in Bayport, MN son of the late Irving Bernard Dahlin and Hazel Dorothy Hedeen Dahlin.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, Richard Dahlin; and a sister, Diane Radke.

Survivors include his daughter, Kimberly Dahlin of Surfside Beach; two sisters, Joanne Woolsey and Gail Alanko; and his beloved dog, T-Bone.

Jim proudly served in the United States Navy. He retired from the Town of Davie, Florida utilities department. He enjoyed fishing, boating and spending time on the lake.

The family has requested that memorial contributions in Jim’s name be made to a charity of one’s choice.
