John Hardwick Obituary

John Derrell Hardwick born May 31, 1949 died peacefully January 5, 2022. Preceded in death by his parents, J. Oscar Hardwick and Celia (Lee) Hardwick and brother, James Russell Hardwick.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Thompson Hardwick, son Sean Hardwick and his wife, Sarah, grandchildren, Autumn, Noah and Stella Hardwick. Sisters Marilyn Long and Martha Ann Johnson. Stepson Christopher Massengill and his family. And Sean's mother Elizabeth Butler.

He gained his Eagle Scout while a member of Troop #848. After graduation from Conway High School in 1966, he went on to receive a BS in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina in 1970. He was owner and president of Adrian Corporation for more than 40 years.

A short gathering for family and close friends will be held on the farm at a later date.
