John S. "Jack" Edwards Obituary
John S. “Jack” Edwards, age 88, of Myrtle Beach, passed away Monday, June 1, 2026.
Jack was born November 17, 1937 in Philadelphia, PA, a son of the late Harry T. and Margaret Coffman Edwards. He graduated in 1955 from Camden Catholic High School in Collingswood, NJ and retired as a CLU with Transamerica Life Insurance Company. Jack was a Duncan Yoyo Champion, he had his Captains License and enjoyed many decades of sailing his boat, Outrageous, in Barnegat Bay, New Jersey. He liked to fly kites, was a runner, listening to female jazz singers, was a voracious reader, and he enjoyed tennis, and he liked college sports. Mr. Edwards was predeceased by his wife, Annabelle M. Edwards, his daughter, Sharon Elaine Edwards, and a daughter-in-law, Josephine A. Edwards.
Surviving are his partner, Julie J. Shepler, and one son, Steven Edwards.
Memorial services will be held at a later date at New St. Mary’s Cemetery in Bellmawr, New Jersey.
