Joseph Anthony Alexander, age 59 of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at his home with his loving wife and family at his side. Joe was born on March 13, 1965, in the Washington, DC area. He was the youngest of nine siblings. He was the son of the late Marion Amos Alexander and Margaret Alexander-Daniels. He will be remembered as a proud, loving devoted Husband, Father, Gramp / Pawpaw, Great Grandfather, Uncle and a wonderful friend to many.
Joe was a truly devoted Washington Redskins football fan. He had a passion for the team and loved to watch the games, even though he definitely let his emotions get the best of him. Any Washington Redskins fan will understand his emotions for the team. In his younger days he had a passion for building model cars.
Joe is preceded in death by his Parents; Sisters, Laurie Jean Harris, Linda Hanley and Cindy Alexander; Brothers, David Alexander and William “Willie” Alexander.
Joe leaves behind to cherish all of his memories, his Wife (his “Rock” his “Everything” as he called her) of 35 years, Vicki Alexander; One Sister, Marian Lavezzo (Lou Lavezzo); Two Brothers, Ronnie Alexander (the late Diane Alexander) and Steven Alexander (Kathy Alexander); One Sister-in-Law, Linda Jones; three Children, Aleshia Aleshire, Missy Helsley and David Aleshire; three Grandchildren, Shannon Coan (Kenny Coan), Joseph Gunner Aleshire and Morelia Aleshire; four Great-Grandchildren, Na’talya, Asia, Ir’Lyn, and Chyna; Thirteen Nieces and Nephews; a host of family members and friends who he will always be remembered by.
