Joseph F Zeglin JR, age 69 passed away on January 10,2026 at Conway hospital surrounded by family.

Now at peace, Joseph was born in Washington DC on November 22,1956.

He joined the military in 1979 and served for 6 years. He was gifted at fixing things. He could just look at something and figure out how it works. In our house we said if dad can’t fix it then it can’t be fixed. He worked as a mixer driver for most of his life and retired at 62. He lost his eyesight to diabetes shortly afterwards.

Joseph is survived by his wife of 45 years, Katrina, his children Michael Matthew (married to Carley) and Laura. He had 3 siblings, Debbie Zeglin (deceased) Chuck Zeglin and Vicky Everett . He had 4 grandchildren Mason Zeglin 15, Heidi Zeglin 6, Lila Zeglin 3, and Kobe Zeglin 1.

His request was for a simple and quiet family memorial. The family will welcome donations to help with the final arrangements. For details, please contact Laura at 315-416-9527. He was grumpy most of the time, but he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. His passing has left a gigantic hole in our lives. He will be missed dearly.
